The Sizzle Thread!

I am on 300 acres (cattle ranch) and we have predators out here galore. I have to keep them in pens and runs. At night they all to into their coop.

I hatched 2 sizzles New years! I love them so much....but I have to get rid of my little roo this summer...'

My Sizzle, Curly Sue. She just started laying

So my sizzle (not peep) has the flipped feathers and was revered to as a drizzle by the breeder... my question is can she also be called a rough sizzle? If not what's the difference?I'm still pretty new to sullied and sizzles but we have a few of each and um trying to learn as much as I can thank u :)

This is the best place to learn.

Sizzle has curly reg feathers.
Smooth has strait reg feathers.

Both have all other characteristics of Silkies. If you breed a smooth to a Sizzle you will get a mixture of Sizzle, Smooth, Frizzle and Silkie in the offspring.

Do not breed two sizzle or frizzle together or you will get a bird with very brittle feathers called a Frazzle.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.
