So definitely use her then right?

Thanks. I have plenty more smooths, they are just not this old. She is very placid and sweet. Plus the name McChicken. How can you go wrong with a name like that?

Oh yea, I would put her with a nice all white Sizzle male (a barbed frizzle feathered male) or a white Silkie Male.

Only white sizzles I have would be her full brother. Unless of course she was actually fathered by my silkie rooster and not my sizzle. It's a toss up. At the time of her conception, both boys were mating my hen.

They are definitely at least 1/2 sister/brothers. Would you mate the two?

I wouldn't call her pure white. She is more creamy coloured. Like the colour of a silkie egg :)

I think that I would put her with your white Silkie (father / daughter) then with her 1/2 brother but you are starting to get in a grey area for me.

My sizzle (possible father) is not white, but every single one of his offspring has been white/cream. I will try doing both. If anything serious comes up in the brother x sister mating, I will rethink my plan. According to Speckledhen, it shouldn't cause any health issues in them, just possible undesirable visual traits.

George is getting old and is terrified of his own shadow. The bigger hens bully him, and he tries to crawl in little tiny places and stays there for days. I have currently separated him, and he is feeling much better about himself. He gets conjugal visits :gig

Hello, here to learn. I brought home my first Sizzle and Sizzle Showgirl chicks from a Spring swap, now I am hooked :) This is Prince (SG), and Shakira.

Soo my two sizzles are 7 weeks old now, and are so cute and outgoing. I just can't get enough of them. I have 3 more with the barbed frizzle feathers that are 3 weeks old, but here are the 7 week olds. I have to improve on their skin colour and toes. Their crests are so nice and big. Love their colours too.

And McChicken again for kicks :love

You all are killing me with all these sizzles. I have silkies and now I think I want a few sizzles to go along with them. I found a lady close but she only has 1st gen. sizzles and the color of their skin and combs are way off. Would it still be worth it to get a few to breed to my silkies? I have 3 pullets and 3 cockerels and I know I need more girls but I can't find any nice birds, that is why I was thinking sizzles, she is only asking 5 per chick. But would I get the sizzle from a 1st gen sizzle to silkie breeding or would it breed it right back out again? New to this and none of mine are old enough to breed yet, only 13 weeks old.
