So I have 4 sizzles that hatched about 9 weeks ago,and wouldn't it figure that they are ALL boys. Oh well, we are keeping them no matter what.. But can I breed them to my silkies, if they are girls,?? If so what will I end up with? Maybe I should just buy more eggs and hatch more?
How can you tell lol! I am still trying to make a guess on mine!! Mine is 3 1/2 months old and no clue. It sort of acts like a girl but has the posture of a boy ;) Any guesses :)

They are like silkies for sexing. The combs are hard to differentiate, especially since your bird has such dark skin. I'd guess girl. If you'd take a picture of her comb, I'd be able to tell more :)

Oh and never judge a bird by posture. I had (gave her away to a friend) a girl that would stand very erect like a rooster, even at a week old. My boys usually don't stand erect until they are older either. I do notice boys will play fight a lot more frequently than the girls.
