You won't quite have a sizzle first generation. You'll be closer. Use the rough feathered out of those crosses and breed back to regular silkies. In the second generation, get rid of any with light skin, 4 toes or a red comb. If they all have those things, keep the best and breed that one back to the silkies and keep going. If my silkie and my cochin breed will I get frizzles?? If so then can I breed those to my sizzles?
Thanks. My little cochin has hatched 4 little babies. I am positive the father is a silkie, but not 100% if she is the mommy. The other chicken's eggs were a sebright. I am hoping my cochin is the mom. The babies all have 5 toes and feathering on the feet. And black skin. You won't quite have a sizzle first generation. You'll be closer. A sizzle is just a silkie with rough frizzled feathers.

The first and second ones look like girls so far
Im not an expert on this but from what ive been told black skin 5 toes frizzle feathers are called sizzles. light colored feet red combs frizzled feathers are called frizzled and regular toes. could be wrongQuick question, I've been calling my chicks frizzles but mum was a frizzle and dad was a silkie so does that automatically make them sizzles or do they have to also meet the criteria?
Have 3 with 5 toes one with four I think
All black feet (some more grey really) and all have black looking combs (defiantly not red anyway)
One looks like a regular silkie the other 3 have the frizzle feathers and are starting to get longer feathers on their heads though one is slower at that than the other two.
Other than the feathers, barbed curly or barbed smooth, Sizzles need to meet the same criteria/standard as Silkies: 5 toes, black skin, blue earlobes, walnut comb, etc.Quick question, I've been calling my chicks frizzles but mum was a frizzle and dad was a silkie so does that automatically make them sizzles or do they have to also meet the criteria?

All black feet (some more grey really) and all have black looking combs (defiantly not red anyway) and two are normal chicken combs and one plus the silkie looking one have rosé combs.

Oh and they all have feathering on their feet
