I'm devastated. We lost our Lady Peckington yesterday to a predator. My girls are heartbroken. She was one of the favorites around here. So very very sad. Rest in peace sweet Lady Peckington.

I'm so sorry to hear that- she was such a beauty

Thank you all. We are so sad. She was my daughter's showmanship bird, and one of our first birds. She was beautiful, sweet, and hilarious to watch. I'm so very sad she is gone. My daughters and I buried her in the yard today and they made her a little headstone. I can't believe she is gone. She was an amazing bird and I know I will never find another like her.

Im so sorry for your loss :(

Dahlia is looking a bit like a feather boa here lol! What a strange little thing she is... I guess I expected her to be more silkieish than she is. I really dont know why I expected that but she is much more skittish than they are. I always have to be very easy with her so she doesnt get nervous. She loves nothing more that dusting her self in the damp dirt :)

Just curious but do all sizzles go straight sometimes or do I just have a weird one? I put it down to moisture in the air as it does it on wet days even when it doesn't get in the rain but then yesterday morning it was all straight when it woke up and it was a beautiful day.

Normal for sizzles???

My sizzles and frizzles do that when humidity goes nuts then there feathers hangs right in their eyes and cant see where their going LOL

I sold all my Sizzles a few months back, I had a handful of Sizzle hens and two Silkie Roos and I hatched well over 75 chicks. I gave everything away that was not barbed feathered and started to grow all my chicks out. Between all the Sizzles I had plus all my large fowl my wife told me that I needed to cut back, I had birds everywhere so I sold all the Sizzles. I just got some pice of some of the chicks I sold and wanted to share.....

I sold well over 30 chicks so if I get any more pics I'll post them. These chicks all went to one person.

I love the feathering on this last smooth!!!
