Oh, I see how it goes... change the story.

Seriously though, don't fret. I have a small coop that I can make DH finish up for me before then.
That is a good thing. Just remind me in the spring about the silkies. The Barnvelders I remember but remind me of the silkies.

WOW!!

It's hard to believe two tiny little ducklings can be so loud. It's been a while since I've had any in the grow box on the porch. It's also hard to believe they will eventually be whispering!

Ya'll know XxPandaxX? I talked to him for several weeks about eggs and just found out he's a 12 year old boy! What a shock that was! He's coming today because I'm giving him some hatching eggs. I should have known he was young with how excited he is about it!

BF will be done with the smaller coop today and I'm hoping Momma K will come pick up the big one she put a down payment on. Aric said he's probably going to make hunting blinds next. At least his will be MUCH better made than the ones I've seen around here every year!!

Morning

I'll give you gas money, if your volunteering! Then we can visit
Right! I was shocked!! He speaks well just like you! I could have sworn he was an adult female!
Goes to show that talking to people on here are like picking up a book. You can't judge them by their cover.
Glad I invited him in. Now we better watch ourselves in the company we are keeping

got a question for ya... I am roofing that run I got set up for winter. So, sand, how much do you think I'd need for a 12x28 area? I am considering flooring the summer coop though, so that will take out 64 sq ft.. Maybe. But really, now many yards do you think?
Coverage

  • One yard of topsoil will cover 324 square feet of soil, spread at a depth of 1 inch, or 100 square feet of soil spread at a depth of 3 inches. To calculate how much topsoil you'll actually need, multiply the number of square feet in the area by the number of inches of topsoil you want to install. Divide that number by 324. For example, if the space is 500 square feet and you want to install 6 inches of topsoil, the equation would like like this: 500 x 6 = 3,000, divided by 324 = 9.2 yards of topsoil.(Courtesy of E-how)

So if my math is right then 3yds should give you about 3inches deep of sand. 3inches would provide excellent drainage but not sure what your going for. Let me know if that helps
