Well I have NO intentions of getting more chickens. Going to wait till I see how well the birds go here. I have 4 unrelated wyandottes, and I have 4 semi unrelated faverolle. Wait till you see the crosses...

my 3 yr old is doing "canonda ball" off the back of the bed to the bed... And yes... They are canonda balls. You can tell him they are canon balls... But...

I've got a barn full of scrap and was just out working today. The power tools were the best Christmas present ever.

I have too many breeds to count and 62 chickens, one hen is about to hatch though.

I just have a lot of broodies. My new Jersey rolled eggs about 20 yards from the coop to under the porch where I can't reach and is setting now. As far as I can tell she has about 5 down there, and I took about 2 away from her while she was rolling them. She's fun though, she might let me hold them too.

Don't you know that you can't tell a 3 year old anything? My 4 y/o cousin is convinced that Justin Beiber is her bf. She has a cardboard cutout of him in her room. They even break up from time to time. And when they do her "whole life is gone! What am I going to do!?!?!? My whole life is gone now! I loved him !!!!"

She also wants a reality show so she, "can be the real me"

I got stung in the neck... Or bit by a spider. Can you say ouch?

No icon for "OUCH". Here's a little old fashioned Dr. Mom for bee stings and spider bites.
Take some plain tobacco put in cup or bowl of water. Let soak up water for a few minutes. Squeezes out most of water put on bite, Cover with bandage.
Leave it stay on overnight. Repeat if necessary.
This does work to draw out poison. Reduces swelling and NO itch when healing.
