The Sussex thread!

I have a few buff sussex and red sussex growing out, but I doubt they will ever be as large as my Coronation Sussex. I think I will breed these for meat.

Hi,
This is a 9 week old SS Roo? After seeing this young SS, I'm now believing that I have all girls. None of mine have combs that big and they are now 12 weeks. Is it possible that his comb/wattles are early and that I could possibly have some roos?

Also, I like your ladder. Did you build it or buy it somewhere?

I have 6 SS 1 is definatly a roo another could be, late to feather out, and very large stout legs. These are some other signs you can go by also. mine are from MPC supposed to be all pullets

9 wks old. would post pics but broke my wrist last week putting chooks to bed.
