These are my two chicks, about 4 months old. Brown chick is a Naked Neck Named Chewy, and Black is a Silkie mix named Terry. One is making a trilling noise and I’m interested in who is doing it. Any ideas?

The one on the left looks like a rooster, that would explain the noise.

Hard to tell without a video... But both my hens and roos trill when relaxed and content, so it isn't a gender thing.

I’d like to say I knew the Naked Neck was a cockerel, I just forgot to mention it! I didn’t know if it was gender or breed or something. He IS the only one trilling and they both live outside, not under a heat lamp in 10F-20F weather.

I’ll also try to get a video soon, but I need him or her to start trilling, whoever it is.
