they were from purely poultry. But my question is what breeding gives them muffs? The Americana has muffs but what breed passes the muffs on to these breeds?

The Ameraucana has muffs. Americanas are Easter Eggers.

Easter egger, her coloring is nonstandard and her type isn’t right.

Postin to save the thread! I have 14 hens to test, lol. 3 are supposed to be Ameraucanas! Purchased separately for over $20 at Cakle Hatchery. I don't know which 3 are supposed to be the pure Ameraucanas.
