Postin to save the thread! I have 14 hens to test, lol. 3 are supposed to be Ameraucanas! Purchased separately for over $20 at Cakle Hatchery. I don't know which 3 are supposed to be the pure Ameraucanas.

Thats why i saved the thread, so i can get pics tomorrow and post! Oh, and i meant to say purchased separately from the Rainbow egg laying asst i got too. Those were all EE & light OE.

Well, my daughter got to the chickens before i could tell her not to let them out yet, but here's one in question. I added two pics of another just because ibtook them, but theyre not good and nothings clear, so you can just ignore those. Ill take better photos tonight when we can catch them off the roost.

Oh, and it is a pea comb, the sides are just kinda hidden behind feathers. Ill spread the feathers away tonight to get a better look.

Black looks like an ameraucana. Can’t tell on the other one from those pics.

My son and I have throughly enjoyed seeing all the pictures of everyone’s babies so thought we’d add a few of our beloved EE for fun. We’re new to chick-rearing so we love seeing chickens that look almost exactly like ours.
