The Tummy tucking flab busters of BYC 2012

My local gym is a 2 minute cycle down the road & I started going a month ago & have lost about 9 pounds-another 15 to go. Then I was very sick for half of this week & couldn't eat for 2 days so I spent last night & today making up for it

Anyway, in another few days, I'll start back on my 3 times a week Spinning class & another 2 days normal gym. I already feel like I've lost tone just as I was getting it back.
 
I am not into all this 1 pod stuff etc - my kids are??? Oh that makes me sound old!!!!!! I just have a good old pair of bathroom scales!!!!!!!

I am more than ready to start this soooooooooo ready!!!!!!!! I want to get at least a stone off. I thought tonight I would start to read through a lot of the mails - so many in such a short time. Gosh were at pg 10 already I see!!!!!! Such enthusiasm!!!!!!! So I have read through a few got to pg 6 and my eyes are crossed. I can;t mention everyone but have a good feel for where everyone is at: Here are just some things I picked out!

Kassaundra – You are right about the weather making it harder to exercise. The dark days and high calorie foods don’t help me either. I truly struggle with that and then Christmas and New year food thrown in and I am massive before I know what I have done to myself!!!!!!

Criskin – I can so empathize with the getting ready to go out and ending up in tears because nothing fits properly! I soooooooooooo have been there. I couldn’t even do up my coat I was so fat 18 months ago!!!!!

I felt like A real fat chick!!!!!!
I hated shopping for clothes and I always felt massive when nothing from the peg looked anything like good on me!!!!!! I often ended up in tears and sometimes still do!

un-named – I too try hard to eat better and I try to cut down in stages. My stomach is swollen and desires only more of the Bad stuff. So I have to watch that. The biggest thing is portion distortion. I started putting food on a smaller side plate! Your right about the body desiring to have better food as one becomes fitter and healthier. - I soooo need to be there!!

Renie'sPeeps – your fantastic and are a real inspiration to us. I am soooo with you on the stress eating though. I am often stressed so bad I just reach for the old comfort food. I learned something though CHANGE THE COMFORT FOOD!!!!!!! Instead of sweets – bowl of grapes. They are sweet and good for you! That kind of thing certainly helps!!!!!!!!

Well I was trying to get a wee bit of understanding where everyone is at. Some are struggling big time others have already made great progress. Some of us have exercise program’s and equipment, tricks and special diets. Others are walking and using portion control – the good thing is that no matter where we are at ( Even Pregnant!!!!! Ha ha!!!!!!) We all come together with the same aim to help and support each other on the difficult journey towards fitness and our best and healthiest body weight.

Lets really give it a go this year come on now put your names to the chart and lets all face this together!!!!!!!!

I got in a good workout on my elliptical today... went 1.7 miles in half an hour. It felt like a looooong workout though.
If I get ambitious this evening I will go back over to the barn, where my gym is, and slowly walk on the treadmill while I read.
That it is only 42 degrees in there sure helps me get moving though.

I did my power yoga today 40 minutes. I was doing 60 minutes 5 days a week, but I feel good about my start, but I'm going to be sore tomorrow!!!!
