You make me laugh!

I think I've gained a few since the club started. I am such a loser-not!

It was bad...people kept seeing me run to the bathroom thinking I had mudbutt not wee urges! Hahaha. I was doing good until I got home and blew 1/2 the days allowance on dinner..ugh..again went over my allotment by 20 calories lol.....at least my calorie intake has been cut inhalf so by my calculations...I will lose 1 lb a week...if I'm lucky haha. But Im trying and doing well....3. Days in a row without a bag of chips and a huge snicker bar with lunch...instead of eating my egg salad on bread it went on greens today. And I cut my mayo in half and used mustard with it..it was yummy

I try and drink lots of water each day too, and have the same issue, 14 + trips are about normal for me.

I did a very noble thing tonight. We met the in-laws at the local greasy spoon and after dinner I ordered my usual piece of pecan pie. They have great pies. Nevermind that I probably shouldn't have ordered said pie...the request just slipped out of my mouth before my brain had time to correct it. Anyway, I only ate half and gave the rest to hubby. He refused to eat it at first, sure that if I was giving up dessert without someone prying it from my cold dead hands it must be either: A.) So bad that even I wouldn't eat it or B.) Doctored with something gross and offered as retaliation for the smug look he gave me when I ordered said pie and he didn't. I finally convinced him that I was sharing with good intentions and didn't even stare at him as he finished it. Granted, I stole a french fry off my 6 year old's plate when no one was looking...

Today was a Just Shut Up and Go kind of day. I knew the Crossfit workout already since my hubby went earlier, but I was dreading it. All these excuses were thrumming through my brain, but I'm finally at that point where I know I should just go. The anticipation is worse than the workout. It's all about changing habits, and getting INtO good habits. So I went. and I did it. And it was hard.

Crossfit WOD: 500 meter row (on a rowing machine). 42 kettle bell swings (I used 36 lbs), 30 sit-ups, 18 pull ups, 30 sit ups, 42 kettle bell swings, then ending with a 500 meter row.

I'm not a fan of rowing, but it's done! I'm sure tomorrow will be equally exciting, lol!

Today, I ate very responsibly. A green tea in the morning. Plain Greek yogurt with almonds, a tbl of all natural peanut butter, 1/4 tsp of chocolate Shakeology, drizzle of yogurt. That actually carried me throughout the morning. Lunch: no bun burger with bacon/avocado, side salad, sweet potato fries. Pre workout snack: hardboiled egg, and, separately, 1/2 scoop chocolate Shakeology shake with almond milk, water, ice, almonds, 1/2 banana, 3 prunes. Dinner: homemade lentil bean/carrot/potato/ham soup.
