You're very sweet, lol! Yes, that's me last year, just starting Crossfit. More importantly, that's Bella, who we were trying to hypnotize for a video! ;-) I love talking about CF and any other program I'm working with! The medicine ball complex for our CF is this layout: medicine ball (about twice the size of a basketball), then 18" box jump platform, then medicine ball. You have to jump over the first ball, then jump on (or over) the box jump, then over the medicine ball. It's not hard, but it gets repetitive (that's where you start making mistakes) and it's easy to trip up and fall!
Is this the same crossfit that you see on television? That is a VERY TOUGH workout.
If it's the Crossfit games by reebok, yes, it is....but what you see on tv is the elite of the elite. Like Olympic level elite. All across the US....you have Crossfit gyms that serve just the plain regular folks like myself, lol! So if you're just getting started, overweight, bad back, etc, you "scale" or "modify" your moves so you can work up to your own personal goals. I like the motivation, accountability and support I get at my "box" (fancy term for CF gym)! Look one up in your area and try a trial class!
