Not to be confused with the lakenvelder.... The American bantam version of the standard German fowl was created in the US by Wilmar Vorwerk.

Any breeders or Vorwerk owners out there? Please share your pictures and info here on this Rare breed

Vorwerk/RIR, as i understand, bueautiful.. Would nice to know what temperament would be there, cuz Vorwerk accept other Roosters but RIR not.

Here are a couple bantam Vorwerks I hatched this year.

I hatched out three last week
I only had three eggs so 100%

for Birds that will end up with orange bodies and black heads the Chicks are the opposite!
