9 NINE gorgeous babies in the Brooder - I'll post pics later tonight I'd guess 5 - 6 girls? But IDK

2 more eggs in the bator, I can hear one is pecking inside the other is chirping and pecking, so I'm hopeful they will make it out - no pips yet on them though

Has anyone had experience hatching this breed that has late hatchers. Today was like popcorn and I'm worried that these two won't make it out

I have had a few Wellies go the next day after the majority of everybody else has hatched, I would leave them in for atleast today. You might be surprized. In answer to your question, IMO, no they are not generally later hatchers, nothing compared to a Marans that can take their own sweet time, the Wellies are usually the first ones here if I am hatching them together....just like popcorn like you said.

Total 10 wellies! The one I heard chirping from but no pipping HATCHED last night, still the bator

I'll leave the other 3 in there till tonight. I've got Silver Penciled plymouth rocks and Splash Marans starting to hatch tomorrow in that bator!

Need to clean the other bators as I'm getting wheaten/blue wheaten ameraucana, black mottled javas and barred ameraucana eggs today, not to mention some silver penciled plymouth rock eggs my girls have laid (first time incubator MY OWN EGGS!!!)
