The Welsummer Thread!!!!

Argh........ still no Wellies hatching; they were due to start yesterday. The guinea eggs I in the same bator a week ahead of Pink's eggs have hatched, but not a single Wellie pip. They looked good going into lockdown; only two iffy ones. Send good vibes this way, everyone!!!!!

I hatched some Pink Wellies and they started a little later than some others I had in with them... Late day 21 early day 22.
8/10 hatched that made it to lockdown...

 

[Eggs Are Good]

My hatch is complete....14 Welsummer, 2 Black Sumatra, and 8 Olive Eggers. I will post pictures later tonight. Thanks faykokoWV, 8 of the new Welsummer are from eggs I ordered from you.

Good news! Our Welsummer, Priscilla, won Reserve Grand Champion at the Southern New England 4H Poultry Show today. Pretty good for a hatchery chick. I'd post pix, but hubby is being a poopyhead about downloading the pictures off of "his" camera.
