There's so much I forgot since my girls were small

We added 2 chicks to our flock today: a BO and BA. The brooder is in our living room. DBF and I had forgotten so many things...
...how small and fragile they are!
...how sweet their trill is.
...how utterly charming they are.
...how much they eat. eat eat eat eat eat!!!

We're still debating names. I'll post pics as soon as DBF gets them off the camera.

I had forgotten how messy they can be! Which is related to the eating. My hatch/brood room is a disaster area. And worth every bit of it.

The room is next to our bedroom, and if I awake during the night, and in the morning, I really enjoy their contented little peeps and cheeps.
