Is your chick starter medicated? You have to have unmedicated for waterfowl.

And your using prime to sort of leech out what your area is putting in water to kill something in their water system? If so why not buy bottled water until they are done?

No 'medicated' feed made in the US has the bad 'medicine' for ducks nowadays. It was true many years ago when they made a certain feed. They don't make it anymore.

Now no have the antibiotics. It was the antibiotics that were hurting them.

If they left some of the disinfect-level concentration in the lines, you should be able to flush it out on your end.

I would be more inclined to suspect botulism. Decaying food is usually the culprit , but wet or mash food can quickly go rancid and it’s important to remove any that has been left laying around. Epsom salts will help to flush out toxins.

It's not botulism. I've seen what botulism signs are.

It sounds like botulism, I agree with @Fancychooklady

Those are all the signs of it and it's very easy to treat if you catch it early.
