Thief Stealing Chickens. Please Help!

This person was stealing my egg money. I stopped leaving it out at night. She did end up in jail and it is someone we know.

Another thief. I posted his pictures everywhere. When he saw his pictures he didn't come back as far as I know. At least I haven't gotten anymore pictures of him.
Here he was stealing the egg money then putting it in his pocket then stealing some eggs. It's all on video.

Is your coop large enough to accomodate a cot? I'd put a cot in there and spend the night with a second amendment article next to me in case the thief attacks. Jump up, scare the cr@p out of him, and make sure you get the whole thing on camera. Then let the video go viral among your neighbors.

Gotta share this. A few months ago I talked to someone who had lived in an area where they make it hard to defend yourself, so he didn't have a second amendment item. He was bothered by a thief. He hid in the shed, and when the thief broke in, he was ready and chased him all over with a running chainsaw. The thief never returned. Love that story.

There are so many out there. We have Muddy and several other brands. We have a few WIFI ones, too that are great for when we are out of town.

Many run on AC so if you have AC there are several that are quite reasonable and work on WiFi and you can have an alarm on your smartphone and view the camera from your phone. Some have 2 way voice.

I can picture him doing it, too. A great big bearded man waving a chainsaw, chasing him, and cussing is probably not what the thief expected.
