Well, it's 9 days now, a bit more than a week, LOL. The last border is pinned and awaiting my headache and muscle tension to go away, then I'll finish it and post pics. Kathy, you bad girl, throwing my words right back at me, LOL.

OMG, that is the most beautiful quilt ever! What does Tom think about it? You did excellent work there, and in record time! I love those Thimbleberries patterns. They make gorgeous patterns that look extrememly difficult, yet they are easy enough for everyone to make!

You know, I think I've learned a ton just piecing the two kits Kathy sent me. They were as good as any quilt class could be. I took one beginners class at a local high school way back in the early 80's and that is the only instruction I've ever had. The rest I learned from books and videos. The instructions in the kits are very clear and show piecing shortcuts that I previously had not used. And I believe I did better on this Pansy Park one than I did on the last one. Tom likes it, too.
