Things you never said until you had chickens.......

Chickens are mimics. I have one roo that mimics crows, one that mimics a dog's growl and one that mimics my cat whining at the backdoor.

my son came up to visit for a few days and he actually had the nerve to go to the diner for breakfast! I have bacon, ham, sausage, bread for french toast, pancake flour, fresh fruit... and I was willing to cook it all. Meatball. Where did I go wrong????

I had one similar situation. About two months ago a newborn chick fell out of the nest while i was inside the house. I heard the chickens making a lot of noise and when I went outside I saw my mix-breed hen, Jenna, with the chick in her mouth running from the rest of the flock. *Facepalm*
