One time, a hummingbird ran into our window and couldn't fly very well so before I could get to it, Snow white, my white EE, picked it up in her beak and ran, it was horrible the poor thing kept making little terrified chirps the whole time, we eventually rescued it though and released it back into our yard after some Rest and Relaxation.I had one similar situation. About two months ago a newborn chick fell out of the nest while i was inside the house. I heard the chickens making a lot of noise and when I went outside I saw my mix-breed hen, Jenna, with the chick in her mouth running from the rest of the flock. *Facepalm*
