Things you wish you could say

Guess who touched the waffle maker after being told not to.
LOL, you only do that once...

But I tell you, EACH of my children touched the stove burner after being warned multiple times not to. They got to a certain age and they just HAD to touch it!!! No permanent injuries thank God! I don't know why they each had to take a turn, but it about gave me a heart attack each time. Tried so hard to keep them from doing that. At least it was only the once per child. And they were able to generalize from that for quite a while - Mom said don't do it, it hurt, Mom was right. I should listen next time she says something will hurt... Really improved my credibility in their eyes, but that's not the way I'd've picked to go about doing that.

Yep. I don't know why, I think I was super curious and just wanted to know what it felt like. My finger was numb the rest of the day.
I remember eating a bottle of asprin when I was 4 or 5. I also remember my mom finding me and picking me up, rushing me to the bathroom and sticking her finger down my throat.

It was adult asprin. I remember that the taste was just so *intense* that I kept eating it.

Edit: They weren't children's asprin.
