Oh, my, the things I wish I could say.

Life isn't fair. (My mom said that to us as kids. I took it to heart.)

Lack of preparation on your part does not constitute and emergency on my part.

I find my self singing the Eagles' song "Get Over It" in my head a lot. Sometimes I sing it out loud.

I hate that if you have a hobby people will try and use it to there advantage. If you do photography, drawing or painting, filming, coding, any kind of performing arts and other stuff, people will want to use it to there greatest advantage. It’s annoying, though maybe it’s just me.

Try being an IT consultant. People want free advice about their computers all the time. It happens to doctors, lawyers, and other specialists all the time.

I'd say that happens in most professions. I don't sweat it to a point. If it's a long undertaking it might be different but if it's short, I do what I can to help. Those same people may be the ones who mention your name when money is on the line.

I would stop having conversations with this person, if I could.

I enjoy having a conversation with someone who thinks/feels differently than I do. IF they can state their thoughts/feelings in a rational way and acknowledge that others may have their own ideas.

Had a great conversation with our best friends. One is an atheist, two are very firm in their belief in God. We all enjoyed the sharing of ideas and what they mean to each of us.

I hope that will be an option at some point. Until then anytime I feel like I want to talk and share opinions with someone, I just bite my tongue or if appropriate, I'll talk to my daughter.

That sounds like some absolutely wonderful folks to be around. I really enjoy learning different viewpoints. I'm jealous but very happy for you
