Things you wish you could say

It’s 5 o’clock in the @#$@# morning. Do you HAVE to let your dog out to bark it’s gorram head off already?
Over the summer, we had the windows open on nice nights. My neighbor had her dog out from 11:00-6:00 every night! Barking all night long. My other neighbor called the police a few times and I don't blame him. 7 hours of non stop barking a night is ridiculous. Sorry you are dealing with it too

My neighbour used to do that too. Luckily, she listened when I asked if there was something she could do about her dog barking all night because I was losing a lot of sleep. The dog still barks every moment that it's outside, but at least she keeps it in during most of the night now.

Seriously, I think that if the dog is outside and breathing, it's barking. Personally, I would be training that dog to shut up.

Why do people think that apple cider vinegar cures everything? It may have some digestive benefits, but it does not cure worms, it does not cure disease, it does not bring the dead back to life!
Makes a great salad dressing if that is any consolation.

If it was a cure all, we’d all use it, yes?
I do use it.
2 parts olive oil
1 part ACV
Generous tablespoons of minced dried cranberries.
Salt and pepper.
Put in a jar and shake it up.
Pour over shredded cabbage, carrot, and apple.
Enjoy!

That sounds delicious. I'm going to have to try it.

It really is yummy. Kind of a Fall slaw. I will be making a batch later. If you make too much and it gets a bit tired in the fridge you can make a quick stir fry with it.
The chickens seem to like the plate scrapings, so in a way I do give my chickens ACV!

I put one heaping tablespoon of sweetener (fake sugar), two level tablespoons of oil and two level tablespoons of vinegar (ACV or regular vinegar) in a container. Then cut up a salad (lettuce, sliced radishes, peeled and sliced carrots), put lid on container and shake very well. Refrigerate and shake again before serving.
