Not sure if you're being serious or not (hard to tell online) but the local fish cleaners here use Sawzall knives for filleting fish!

Not a wish I could say, but for you that may have been curious as to how the "cook from frozen turkey" came out, it did fairly well. It actually cooked faster than I thought it would which caused me to maybe over cook it just a bit. I think it could have been juicer if not for that. I probably caused it by having the oven set on convection roast. Once I realized how fast it was cooking I turned it to bake and tented it. I wanted it to finish about 20 minutes or so before I had everything else ready. So, that worked out, but I maybe left in a tad longer than idea. Plus, it was not that big of a turkey at about 10lbs. I still have enough left for us to make some good turkey sandwiches over the next couple of days.

Would I do it again? Yeah, I think so.

Next year, it will be a turkey breast and we will eat on Friday so that there will be no competition with a football game on TV.

Yes, Friday usually has more than Thanksgiving Day and especially if you count college games. There are 9 college games tomorrow.

Well, actually, it is 15 college games tomorrow, I see.

Of course, if it were the Steelers, that would be just as bad.

I do like making Thanksgiving dinner. One of my tenants is from Saudi, and he's never had a traditional Thanksgiving feast before. He really liked the green bean casserole. He couldn't have the mashed yams because there was bacon in it, but I made sure the stuffing was made with turkey sausage so he could eat that.
