Think I can make anything out of this? *Update* 5/23 added most of run

On another site, I saw where a guy turned a similar kid's playhouse into a pigeon loft. Made a really attractive coop. You've got the start towards a great coop.

Hey everybody, quit fillin this poor persons head full of delusions of granduer . . .
That will never work as a coop, not no way not no how!

But you definately need that eyesore out of your yard . . .
Tell you what, box it up and send it to me, Ill do you the favor of takin off your hands and prettying up your yard.
Im that kinda guy.

I cant believe people would tell you such outlandish tales, like it would make a great coop, Ha!

I was working on my coop today and I would be delighted if I had now what you are starting with. You're about 3 sheets of plywood and some hardware cloth from being done with the coop and the run.

thanks for the advice everyone! Been wondering since we moved here what to do with that thing - we don't have kids so it's kinda useless - but now we can do something with it (as soon as we can move it! lol)..

I have a very similar swing set structure that will be building a chicken coop out of. I first thought of keeping it as is, with the coop on top and letting them run underneath. I have plenty of room, therefore I am leaning towards lowering it and building a a good size run 8' x16' . I had actual planned to build a good size run anyway. I plan on lowering it for a couple of reasons. e.g. easier for me to get into; easier for the chickens to get into (i don't' have to build numerous ramps) easier for me to have access to building the walls and putting the roof on

I've done more with less.

My present coop started from a shippig create and some pallets.

I have the same exact thing in my yard, plans drawn out, ideas whirlin through my head and my hubby/builder has no time to help me build it this spring or any desire to understand why I NEED more chickens!!! I will work on him on this and maybe next year I
ll get it done.
