Well, 6 of the 9 turkey eggs I set under my bantam chocolate Orps hatched... The rooster proceeded to kill them all and eat parts of some of them then. I moved the last 3 eggs to the incubator along with 4 of their own eggs - one was pipped. I do not have a chick total yet.
I am very upset. 5 hens against one roo and they just let him kill them. I hate that rooster. He's mean anyways.

You know goats can smell pretty bad, right? OTOH, I have a friend who raises Alpines, and while the bucks are smelly & awful...the does are adorable & if I could, I'd have one
