ya I love frizzles, but that might be a bit of a problem, since i think technically if you breed frizzle x frizzle you can get a "frazzle" and they have issues with their feathers being too brittle. 3 of my 5 roosters are frizzles so there is a decent chance some of the eggs are frizzle x frizzle, I am kind of using this as a test to see how that turns out... some people probably think that is not a good idea, but if it looks like they are having serious feather issues it isn't like they aren't chickens that I can pluck and eat. lol she is my only frizzle female and her eggs are about half the size of all my other chickens eggs so I can easily just separate them out and not hatch any more of them if any issues arise. So cute! I have always been interested in the frizzles.
Sure takes the pressure off without rules!!I think it counts. No rules here! lol
Chickens not turkeys so I'm a few days early. I had mentioned the kind in an earlier post but these HALs move so fast I know you dont see everything lolActually….a few days late(Set date for turkeys was Apr 7th and chickens Apr 14.) But that's okay! I didn't set anything exactly on those dates either. I have turkeys due in 5 days and another batch due May 9th.![]()
