I love this thread so much. I have tons of my cats, but none of my feathered pets. They don't drop like they used to, now they have regular sun exposure versus their first time in the sun, lol

Not a great photo but my first chickens and first time I saw her like this I was completely convinced she was dead. I remember feeling that awful pit in my stomach as I was convinced I had done something wrong and had killed her.

I had a filly that would lie flat out in the pasture for hours, this girl loved her sleep. She scared me several times, and even the neighbors would think she was dead and try to make noise to see if she'd at least flick an ear and prove she was alive
