This thread is hilarious!

I posted this picture on Instagram, about 2 weeks after proudly introducing my new chicks, and it nearly broke the internet. (Minor exageration, I have about 22 followers). But it surprised me how quickly people were to offer condolances without reading the caption to figure out that the chicks were totally fine, lol.

I really miss my big boy cat. We only had him for a year before he left us but he certainly made an impression on us. Im very protective of my two girls. Boo is allowed out, but not at night. June only goes out when we are out with her.

You know I love all my cats, but I'll have to say judging from the ones I've had that the boys are the best. The girls can get kind of catty (if you know what I mean).

I have to agree with you on that one. I love my lady-cats, too ... but there's definitely a reason the girls are called "queens!"

I don't know. If I do adopt another male it will be a very young one.
Arthur ( my husband named him) was already grown when he showed up, and despite having him neutered, he still demanded to be outside at night. As anyone who has adopted an older cat knows, when they want out you let them out. Otherwise you stay awake all night long.
We'll never know what happened to him. That kind of broke our hearts. He was so sweet natured and was more dog like than the girls. He followed us everywhere. He could sure put the groceries away too. Both girls together do not eat as much as he did.
