Glad he’s back! Ni Hao Ebanezer.I've filled this hole several times now. I saw dirt flying and thought it was a gopher. Nope. Its Ebanezer popping back in from China.

I will take a photo of my Wyandottee sometimes when the weather cooled down a bit.
Like this summer, it is so humidly hot, they don't sleep in the coop, they prefer to roost on the coop's roof. The coop is inside an metal enclosure so they are safe. During the day, they hide in the shade just like my other breed chickens. When it is really hot, I hose all my chickens under their wings and tummies. I also trim down their vents and tummies feather, just about 1cm.
I think they are ok with the heat, they don't go out into the sun like other chickens do, with that big coat they are wearing..who would want to go out on hot day. I also intervene a lot to ease down the heat so I don't know will they be ok if I don't intervene to help in very hot weather like lately.
I see he doesn’t bring you any exotic giftsI've filled this hole several times now. I saw dirt flying and thought it was a gopher. Nope. Its Ebanezer popping back in from China.

I'm waiting for mine to dig us a pond. If I just keep throwing treats in the same spot long enough, we'll get there.I've filled this hole several times now. I saw dirt flying and thought it was a gopher. Nope. Its Ebanezer popping back in from China.
