[IMG][IMG]This is Fred. We adopted Fred after a friend ended up with 3 cockerels from a straight run of 12 chicks. We decided to let him free range a little bit this weekend. for a big bad rooster he is afraid of everything. he met our 4 hens through a fence for the first time today. they didn't know what to make of him at first so they just froze and stared at him. hopefully soon he will be big enough to take care of himself and they can all meet in the open.

    He's so cute!
My Buff Orpington rooster was also small and bony and then boom! Growth spurt hit and he was a big and robust rooster :) Orpingtons are good mixed flock roosters :)
