My Fathers best friend was put in an internment camp. Don't forget that it was for thier protection also.

Many of those camps were no better than POW camps... no food, rampant disease....etc...

When I lived in Detroit, you could call the schools there segregated because many of the white people moved out of the city (well, the ones that could afford to). So, the schools were pretty much African-American and low-income, too. But, it wasn't forced or government policy.

What do people think about forced busing to "integrate" mostly non-minority schools?
