This owl wont stop attacking my chickens and ducks!

i really needed something affordable and sturdy for my roof so this owl will leave my chickens alone, but anyways yes i have looked at these automatic chicken doors, but i always think like what if it shut on a chicken..
schedule it to close like half an hour after dark when they're all definitely in bed. or even have it close at like 9pm which it's definitely too late for chickens this time of year but I assume too early for owls.

yeah, around 7 is when my chickens walk back into their coop and the owls come late around 1:00,but i usually get up to go and check on them sometimes

then you definitely have a large time window so you wouldnt have to worry about closing it on any chickens:)

or you can be cheap like me and just manually open the door in the morning and shut it at night.
honestly my chickens are the smartest animal i own compared to my dogs and cats😂 literally they just walk right in thier coop and know what to do lol

I have several chickens who dont sleep in the coop at night, and I think they spread that coopist propaganda to the new birds because I always have some younger birds join them in the trees. Which is fine - less poop cleaning for me. I'm amazed with how late I can be letting them out sometimes that they havent all found elsewhere to sleep.

Do you happen to know if there's anyway to buy a trap for owls?or is that not allowed
