Just pull a couple, they'll barely feel it.Is there a way to pluck feathers without having them hurt the bird a lot. I've never pulled feathers before.

If Thor is male the feather should look like the pictures of male feathers that I posted. I'm no expert, but I think the best place to get the feather from is the back of the neck, not the chest.Those feathers are like Calypso's. Thor doesn't have any feathers like that.

I always thought that even if a peafowl was friendly, if it was put in such a different environment of a fair it would get stressed a lot and freak out, probably breaking it's feathers in the process. That will be cool if it works though. When we were in Ukraine, I heard a peacock screaming, so after walking around we found a guy with a peacock on a perch and was taking pictures of people and the peacock. That peacock was very friendly, and it was nice to see him because I missed mine. Two of my breeder hens for next year were born while we were away.
