I think you are confusing the term sex linked with the term sexual dimorphism. Sexual dimorphism is the difference between males an females of a same species like the plumage and of course sexual dimorphism is very evident in birds.

This is copied from the peafowl stickies about sex-linked peafowl (I am not interested in raising sex-linked varieties so I am quoting this since I am not a sex-link expert):

I posted a correction to that sticky....I guess it didn't make it to the original post.

No offense, but...

Ok, we bought a lamb from the 4Hers this yr...never had it except from a restaurant. Ours was a small 100lb one...butcher said it's one if the best he's seen...what we found out on our first time grilling it was how bad the fat smells and tasted... It was never like that in the restaurant! So how do we prepar it and cook it properly so it's not so strong? It kinda ruined us and the rest of the lamb is still in the freezer

DW said never buy a show animal for eating because of all the mussel building feeds and additives like Ractopamine called Pylean by trade name, antibiotics, and fish meal that makes the meat stink,

WOW!! That's not good at all. Thanks for sharing.

Since this is a thread about identifying peas I was wondering if ya'll could help me identify this hen, more precisely her ailment? I gave her an injection of Agrimycin 200 and started treating all the peas water with Durmycin (Tetracycline Hydrochloride). A couple of the peas have a cough and three of them have the swollen, frothy eyes.
