Kathy how much protein do you feed your peafowl when they are from 6 months or older. I looked at the tag on the feed I use and it has 28% protein

They get free choice 26.5% turkey starter, a grain mix that's 13.5% and alfalfa hay.

How long do you keep your peas on starter? Shouldn't they be on grower after 10 weeks and finisher after 17 weeks? Why such high protein levels at 6 months?

I didn't read the tag til yesterday so I'm going to switch them. When I was looking through the photos your guys peafowl look a lot bigger then Thor and Calypso and they are about the same age so I looked at the tag and realized the protein level and that it said to feed chicks from day one to 6 to 8 weeks.

I've feed mine (since they were a day old) 28% game bird feed. It is crumbles form. They are 6 months and huge. The feed is made in Shawnee.
