Thoughts on Immune Glow Daily Water Additive?

I offer crumble to my chicks as an oatmeal like consistency wet mash. My problems with pasty butt, anecdotally, disappeared when I started doing that - but that was also the time I stopped buying farm store chicks with shipping stress. Only additive I use, when I use anything, is some nutritional yeast - when I'm brooding ducks.

Good luck with your feather babies
I'll try that method! Yeah, buying through online and shipping is so stressful for chicks. All of them covered in poopy-butt, stressed, and almost lethargic. The ones I ordered online were all almost sickly. Had to spend 2-3 hours each night using warm water, Q-tips to safety remove the feces, and drying them on low heat with an hair air dryer. It was I believe around 20 chicks.. ^^;

I like Poultry Nutri-Drench to help with shipping/rehoming stress for chicks, and as a quick pick up if I see birds that are lethargic or off a bit. Not going to pretend it's magic or that it wards off illness, it's molasses and some vitamins, but it's worked well for me as a pep up.
Do you use Nutri-Drench only usually or do you give them the option with clean warm water , and Nutri-Drench?

Ohh thats great! Haha never really thought about how so many natural ingredients can be used for chickens. Thanks for the advice, you mentioned an etsy shop? I'd love to see!
Definitely! Its nice how the simplest things can provide so many benefits to poultry. :)
Okay! I really appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Its been slow getting business going, so any suggestions are much appreciated. I appreciate the interest!

When I'm using Nutri-Drench with chicks I give only Nutri-Drench water to ensure they're drinking it. With adults I usually direct dose the bird I'm treating.

With electrolytes (which I've used in hot weather spikes) the flock can choose from plain water or cooler electrolyte water. I use homemade electrolytes for that.

The big plus of Nutri-drench is that it contains a pair of frequently lacking amino acids, and some key trace minerals with its vitamins. That makes it great for dietary deficiecies and a bit of a boost in "failure to thrive" conditions or when challenged by many common diseases. Unfortunately, it also contains extra calcium - which is great for egg bound layers, "sof" or thin shells, etc - but not so great for young birds. In my view, it tries to be a "catch all", doing too many things. Still, the risks of it doing lasting harm if used BRIEFLY are effectively zero.

I'll offer an aspirin analogy.

On the basis of "take two and call me in the morning", Nutri-drench is a good product to have on hand.

On the basis of "take two a day for your heart for the rest of your life", Nutri-drench most definitely is not.

Nutri-Drench is a staple. Definitely always have it on hand. Not something you need to add to water daily, but definitely keep it in the first aid kit.
For prevention, immune boosting is the best thing or that. I like to add oregano, ginger, sometimes garlic, and what other herbs I have available to my poultry fermented feed. If your looking for probiotics, than fermenting a whole grain feed is an easy way to get that. I think herbs are fantastic, along with vegetables and fruits. All vegetables/fruits contain antioxidants, which I believe are vital for happy laying hens. They reduce free radicals in the body, and prevent premature aging, a big thing for laying hens, cancer, and tons of other diseases.
For prevention, I also give my chickens wellness blends on my Etsy shop if I have extra's, or blends that are getting old.
Would love a link to your store
