well maybe you can answer it anyways...
my RIRs are MEAN little SH#%$ and they fight with EVERYONE!! ive had problems with them since day one. the picked on eachother none of the barred rocks i have and they are all the same age.. they have no tails because they just kept pecking at eachother..
they peck at me and fight with everyone.. i have 10 of them and would really just like to cut it down to 2 cuddles and crazy are the two.. cuddles is my daughters and she only has 2 toes on one foot and crazy has a sugar inbalance close to diebetic..
i was wondering if your RIRs are mean like this or if its just mine..

are they pecky or mean?? mine seriously will peck the back of my leg until it bleeds (if i would let them that is)

I'm home for a while anyway. I have to go back out to the barn and feed again around 4:00 or so. On the way home I go by this little pond and there had to be at least 20 to 25 bald eagles on the pond. They had a hole in the ice and were pulling fish out of it I couldn't get close enough to get good pictures though. But I sat there on the side of the road and watched them for about half an hour.

I am suppose to go on lockdown for my 3 chicken eggs this Wednesday but what about turning the other 24 that are in the incubator? and can baby chickens and baby ducks be kept together for a while as well as the baby geese?

No, mine are NOT mean. At All. That's weird. I'd fry em up. Trade them in for some Black Australorps. They are the calmest chickens I've ever had. Although they lay a smaller egg than the RIR or the Sex links. Those sex links I had.. man, I've never seen a more consistant, huge layer. I would lOVE to have more of them. But I need room for my projects.
