Yeah, the price of bacon has me making a lot less bacon and tomatoe quiche, that for sure! But, turkey bacon is around $2.50 a lb, so I guess I will stick with it. I did a search a few days ago trying to find a receipe to make my ownn turkey bacon!!! No luck though. Have some good turkey sausage receipes though!

Funny, I'm a baker too. Have a cake shop in town, and a passle of wee besties at home (and that doesnt count my kids!)

I just bake from home for now, i join in farmers markets, and sell to 2 resturants , right now that is all i can handle with my wee beasties (kids included in that recently)

Oh yum. Me and my hubby were just talking a couple nights ago about trying to make our own sausage. When we get started on that, I'll throw some questions to ya.

We LOVE to cook on the grill and thought it might be fun to try.

I'm not a very good "baker" especially cookies. But I make an awesome white and sour dough bread. Oh and I made a Povitica that made my Polish Father in Law asking for more! I was excited about that.
