Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Wow, SM, how sad for those goosies! I hope the last one makes it!! I sure wish Celtic was around to help................

I was asleep but I had a dream that my hubby split up with me because I was too cranky, LOL. Think it's because I had a minor tantrum last night when my phone trashed an email.

I had a minor tiff with mine last night about changing a diaper. Or rather... him NOT changing a diaper. Why are men stupid? Ok that's all.

Go to bed!

Ok, lain I have a good pic of my drake. Lets hope that it uploads! One sec.

Sm, your goose is soooooo cute!

also a quick question i have candled my goosies again last night and 2 are still showing signs of development and i can't really see anything in the third it kinda looks like the yolk floating around in water, should i give it a bit longer or take it out i am kinda parinoid i will explode in my bator i set them on 2/9 so they are on day 8

also what temp should the bator be at if i insall a fan assist?

I had the geese eggs upright at about a 45 degree until day 21 then I put them at 70 degree angle. Then for hatching, I laid them down. The reason they were upright was that they still had fluid in the air cell. The one that is alive is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! It is light grey with white through it. I had to open it up more because when I looked inside the shell, it was really getting shrunk wrapped on the body. The only thing that wasn't shrunk wrapped was the little beak I helped out. So I opened it up more. GAWD I HATE DOING THIS!!! But I am afraid if I don't they will all die. My humidity is up to almost 90% to get some mositure in there but it is not helping at all.
