set up my brooder tonight.
to test out the heat lamp and see if 250w is gona be too much .
and my grandpa is driving me crazy .
he is tellin me to go check the thermomoter every 5 minutes.
and keeps trying to get me to try his bulbs (he has 4 other heat bulbs none of which are under 8 years old hahaha )

on a happier note.

we were having out nightly talk about why momy only got 1 egg .
well really its our nightly egg talk.
but tonight was about why on eart i only got 1 egg when i have 4 girls.
you know what their reply was?
"quack, quack quack"
clearly the messege was lost in translation somewhere.

Lovely strong storms here just as the sun set, had to cover grow out pens full of chicks that must moved outside two days ago. They were pretty ticked to be getting covered up. Working on dinner then it's bath time for the munchkin and off to bed. Then time to check the hatcher and hand turn eggs and mist again.

its pretty backed down.
and everytime they lay in the straw they scape a hole along the edge and leave it uncovered.
so im not too worried about a hidden nest. in there it would be pretty obavious

OK. I am increasing now. It is almost to 50%. I added my hatching humidifier now. It should continue to slowly climb. Target is 70-75%?
The first internally pipped egg is starting to try to externally pip and peeping away! I'm pretty sure all four of your eggs have internally pipped and the ebay eggs are vibrating away.
