Ok yeah. He's being a pain in the butt.  Tell your mom Props to her for saving my puppy!!  She'd be happier with us!

Big pain. She wants you to have one. She would rather it go to you then him.

Also! She has to give him the daddy dog alog with a puppy, and a goat, and he already got half our chickens.

hi!

Good evening Marty. I lost all my cayugas and silver appleyards. I have I think last count 23 Perkins with hearts. And I have the funny Crelo Polish in the LG. I bought an egg Turner for it so it is nice to not turn those eggs. Some of my Perkins still have fluid in the air cells. What do I do for them?

Keep it a bit drier, I suppose. Life is simplier for me. I usually just candle at 14 days to see if there are embryos or not, and do my best, and leave them in the hands of the universe. Pekings are pretty hardy, I bet if they've improved it will work out. There isn't water in the air cells, right?

My folks got divorced when I was a kid.  It can get very unpleasant.  :hugs   Their feeling may linger (good and bad), but this too shall pass.  Are you doing ok?  Its so tough to be where you are.  Kinda like a mama broody hen with a flock of her ducklings, when they insist on playing in the pond.  All she can really do is fuss and worry and watch, and hope they get themselves out of that mess ok!

Im ok. My ducks get me through all the crap lol.

When I was little, me and my dad were REALLY close, but niw, not so much. Not at all actually. He talks about raceist crap all the time, and its really annoying, and mean. And its totally drivin me and my sister away from him, and he doesnt even care to spend time with us at all. He only likes spending time with the little brither, and hes turned my little brother into a complete brat.

DG-

Let me know if you need a few more ducks. We all love you and want to be sure you get through this. At least you have us to help you through while you incubate to replace those lost chickens!

Do we need to all send you a couple of eggs to kind of get you re-started? (Shame I don't have any goat or puppy eggs)

SM: Mine were all watery too but it cleared up when I dropped humidity to 30.

I don't know what anyone else does, but for my large eggs (turkey/duck in my case) I add lots of water, get the humidty to 50+, then I let it slowly evap. till humidity is at about 25% before I fill it again. It seems to be a nice natural balance, and generally my own eggs work out with high hatches. E-bays are usually 40-60%, but of course the most recent ebay hatch, my quail, only hatched about 13% (4 of 30). I have some from a different seller I just put in, hope they work better. I havn't tried any from BYC yet, but I have some coming for the easter hatch along.
