Generally, In my expereince, if the baby is acting o.k., they get better no matter what weirdness hatching has inflicted on them. If shes eating, pooping, drinking, and squeeking......no worries mate!

im working on it .
the guy that called earlier made me mad so i told him to get lost.
i told him i could get rid of them until tomarrow. (im taking a few to c my friends little boy (hes 4) .. didnt tell him this but still)
and he said well if i cant get them today thn i cant get them.
so i said fine your choice i will find someone else.

Jaz- Cute geese. They make me think mine are roman tufted, just bad quality. They just look thicker and sturdier than my goslings, and oranger bills/feet. I love that bedding, I am going to get some today. Shavings are getting on my last nerve.

Im going to try the wood pellets too! When I was reading the posts on it several days back, I thought how nice that might work out for baby ducks and quail. Its a good idea.

Well thats good news ! You got your Romans !! I used to do shavings ~ never again since I started using pellets, My friend Crystal used it, and she told me about it & I gave it a try & I am GLAD I did. I figured it was only $4 a bag, so what could it hurt, even if I didn't like it.

If you lose power, your eggs will be ok for awhle - cool is better than hot. If your home, just cover them up with towel, but leave air holes open.
