Why? I would be more worried about the eggs, since you can cuddle your geese to keep them warm...

Well, theres only two. Put them under your shirt, with a towl under them to protect you! Its better than chilly babies, and you'll know they are safe. (Yep, done it myself. I DO live in Kansas!)

Goslings and ducklings don't need heat nearly as much as chicks/poults. I only use heat for the first 2 weeks as long as they are somewhere around 60. Move them inside if the power goes out and keep an eye on them, but don't worry too much as long as your house stays halfway warm until the power comes on. If nothing else, tuck them in your shirt for 10 minutes or so every hour to warm them up.

It moves so fast you can't see it when you look in the window of the bator
& I have been hit by it a couple times & OUCH it friggin hurts
