25 a dozen sounds really fair, I think you should have no problem selling them for that. I think I'd sell them in half dozen sets for $15.

which means since they can pick the bird they r getting. and dont have to pay shipping i can charge 6-8 a bird depending on color. and if i get decent at vent sexing (it will go up hhah )
i guess i will just have to test the demand in the area.

Regular ducks are around 4-7 at hatcheries. The only hatchery that sells calls is efowl, theirs are 12-16.

1st off, bobby has black lines following his bloodlines at the pointy part of the egg, and the egg is all black. Is this normal? Im so scared to loose him!

2nd! I candled my WH eggs and theres no development yet! Is this normal? I put them in wednesday night. Should their be veining yet?

im also putting a min or chicks (they must buy atleast 3)
because im not dealing with the whole lone chick thing, and if sumthin happens to 1 then they still have 2

right now im more of a hobby breeder.
i may just invest in some silkies. because i am jelous of everyones
maybe one of the feed stores will have some.
=)
i cant wait until i can get more serious with this stuff.
IE: when i have a barn with horse stalls for i can mae duck runs.
i want a run of anconas.
a run of magpie calls.
and a run of snowy calls.
and maybe a run of mixed calls (mixed colors)
and maybe just maybe if i really love my geese. a run for them and just get a gander of one kind but keep both girls.
so far amelia is my favorite

im trying to not pick favorites but she is soo goofy


and i plan on putting any ducky made money in a seperate jar to pay for their expenses and stuff
