No kidding! I have been on and off here all day and the last break of a few hours was nuts. I just now caught up after about 15 minutes of reading. LOL

Hey! I made it to the end! Ya'll need to stop talking so much when I'm at work!

My two chicks that we put under the farm broody both came out from under mama today, so now I know for sure they're both okay! I was only seeing one at a time and then wondering if my mind was playing tricks on me!

Flippy is doing well with the bigger, stronger chick. I'll have pics if my cell phone ever allows me to upload the darn things. "Smart Phone," my buttocks.

and of course now my honey is gnawing my ear off. Argh, I will probably be back on tomorrow. Thanks Jaz, thanks a lot for getting me into this time consuming craziness. Haah! Good night all, hopefully we can get more acquainted later.

I pretty much have no life if not for this thread.

Julie- I don't think it's ancona boy. I haven't seen him ... seal the deal.. so to speak. This was an older egg. I'm collecting a few more recent ones to put in there. She took a slight laying break last week and was doing one every other day. And I found another mallard egg today in her secret hiding spot.
I'm excited about that. It would be a mix. Mallard drake isn't sealing the deal either.

Sicky chicky is eating better and her peeping has subsided. So my fingers are SO crossed right now. This is the silver looking one. I really wanna see her feather out.

Now that I'm caught up, I need to go do my night chores. Gotta check on the peeps and the eggies and feed the dog...

I'm sure I'm going to give up on this trying to catch up things after the quacklings hatch. I'll probably be much too busy cleaning up poop and spilled water. Yay.

Ok honestly, I'll be too busy playing with the little darlings to get anything else done. That's the truth!
