I reeeeaaaaalllly don't want to read 1,936 pages of just taking soo...How did yalls' hatches come through?
QJ, did you survive the day?
Woo Hoo!
Caught! I was putting the ducks back into their main run and unbeknownst to me, hubs went upstairs and found them. He told me he was going to call the feed store and forbid them from selling me any more live critters.
Oh well, still got my incubator!
I'm still shocked how slow ducks hatch. I've got one that's been pipped for almost 24 hours, lazily poking it's beak at the hole every once in a while. Normal or should I worry? They are due Saturday PM.
I now have 6 of 11 pipped.
I will be asleep during itPlease tell me that "lower back nerves burned" is less painful than it sounds!![]()
Evening everyone.
Still only have the one turkey baby. Nobody else pipped yet, but not due until Sat. I can worry or not, but still I wait. :/
We've named him uno. Here he is, nice and dry now. Uno is so loud, I got sick of it, and got tired of carrying him, so I gave him a quail buddy. They are getting hard to catch. At almost two weeks old, they fly a bit. sometimes right out of the top of the cage when Im feeding and watering.
Heres Uno's pic....

I think I hear a muffled "chip" now and then from the bator, but no new pips. drat. (time for that patience I remind everyone to use)
